Peut-on saisir Montréal sans connaître ses ruelles ?
Dans une ville où chaque espace disponible est vu comme rentabilisable, la ruelle résiste : entre prolongement des cours arrière, zone de jeux, point de rencontre et voie d’accès secondaire, la ruelle cultive l’ambivalence.
Terrain de jeu de ma jeunesse, j’ai voulu lui rendre hommage, en magnifiant les jeux d’enfants qui l’habitent.

Can we truly understand Montréal without knowing its backstreets?
In a city where every available space is seen as potential profit, the backstreet resists: serving as an extension of backyards, a playground, a meeting place, and a secondary access route, the backstreet embodies ambivalence.
As the playground of my youth, I wanted to pay tribute to the games that we played.
